  • Enterprise Singapore (EnterpriseSG) - The Singapore government agency supporting SME growth, financing, innovation and international expansion.
  • PSG (Productivity Solutions Grant) - Singapore's grant supporting SMEs adopting pre-approved digital solutions, historically covering up to 50% of qualifying costs.
  • EDG (Enterprise Development Grant) - Singapore's grant for larger business transformation projects (strategy, innovation, internationalisation), typically supporting up to 50-70% of qualifying project costs.
  • MRA (Market Readiness Assistance) Grant - Singapore's grant supporting SMEs expanding into overseas markets, covering costs like market research and business development.

  • SkillsFuture - Singapore's national programme supporting continuous training and upskilling, including AI and digital skills, for the workforce.
  • Business Grants Portal (BGP) - The single Singapore government platform through which most SME grant applications, including PSG and EDG, are submitted.
  • Pre-approved solution (PSG) - A specific vendor and software package Enterprise Singapore has already vetted and approved for grant funding under a scheme like PSG.
  • Qualifying cost - The specific expenses within a project that a grant scheme will actually count toward its funding support.
  • Co-funding ratio - The percentage split between what a grant covers and what the business must pay itself, e.g. "50% funding support" means the business pays the other half.
  • SPRING Singapore (legacy) - The former Singapore SME agency, since merged into Enterprise Singapore, occasionally still referenced in older documents.
  • A*STAR - Singapore's national science and technology research agency, which also runs some SME-facing innovation and technology adoption programmes.

  • Sustainability grant / green initiative funding - Singapore grants specifically supporting SMEs adopting more energy-efficient or environmentally sustainable practices.
